1. That the Statutory Public Hearing on Bylaw 27/2019 Land Use Bylaw Amendment - Solar Arrays be closed.
2. That Bylaw 27/2019, being Amendment 171 to the Land Use Bylaw 9/2005, be read a second time.
3. That Bylaw 27/2019 be read a third time.

PURPOSE OF REPORT
The purpose of this report is to outline proposed text amendments to the Land Use Bylaw, under which the LUB is amended by:
· revising the definition of “solar collector” in order to clarify that this definition refers only to a roof or wall located structure;
· adding a new definition for “solar collector, ground” to distinguish an installation of this kind from a roof or wall located structure; and
· adding language to authorize “solar collector, ground” as a discretionary use in the Commercial and Industrial Services (CIS) Land Use District.
