RECOMMENDATION(S)
recommendation
1. That the Municipal Inspection Report be received as information.
2. That Administration review the recommendations from the Municipal Inspection Report presented to Council on August 29, 2017 and provide analysis and a recommended action plan, with responses and follow up activities, for Council consideration in Q2 2017.

PURPOSE OF REPORT
A municipal inspection has been conducted as per the resolution passed by Council on July 4, 2016 to conduct an inspection into the governance of the City of St. Albert. The municipal inspector, Mr. George Cuff and a representative from Municipal Affairs will be in attendance to make a presentation regarding the municipal inspection.
COUNCIL DIRECTION
On July 4, 2016 the following motion was passed:
(C454-2016)
"That, as per section 571(1)(b) of the Municipal Government Act, Council request the Minister of Municipal Affairs to conduct an inspection into the governance of the City of St. Albert."
