COUNCIL DIRECTION
On September 26, 2016 Council passed the following motions:

That the deadline extension for the following item be approved: Capital Fundraising Campaigns - extended to June 19, 2017.
At the March 14, 2016 Standing Committee of the Whole Meeting the following motion was passed:
(SCW16-2016)
That Administration develop a report, based on the Committee members’ comments and feedback, by the end of October 2016, outlining a set of principles pertaining to the fund development expectations and limitations that will be conveyed to the appropriate facility beneficiaries.
REPORT
This is a matter that was being lead specifically by the General Manager of Community and Protective Services. As a result of the General Manager taking on the Interim City Manager’s duties, and there being no ability to back fill the General Manager role, this project has experienced delays. It is anticipated that it will take some time for the incoming General Manager to get up to speed on this file and to get it back on track.
