That $72,300 be put back in the Public Works budget for the Annual Flower Planting Contract, funded from the tax levy.

Administration’s Understanding of the Intent of the Motion:

That the proposed elimination of the Annual Flower Planting Contract not proceed and $72,300 will remain in the Public Works budget for 2022.

There will be no operational impact should motion be approved

 

Financial Implications of Motions:

This would add to the municipal tax requirement, resulting in a tax increase.

Background:

Salisbury at the Enjoy Center (formally Holes) is current contractor to supply, install and maintain annual flower planters at intersections, neighborhood entrances and some civic buildings
