COVID-19 Matters

RECOMMENDED MOTION(S)
recommendation
That the Chief Administrative Officer be directed:
(a) to implement new COVID restrictions applicable to City facilities and programs, contained in any Order issued by the Province of Alberta based on the public announcement on Sept. 15, 2021, and also
(b) to implement, as soon as reasonably possible, restriction exemptions provided for in the Order based on the vaccination status of persons who use such facilities and programs, with the intent of allowing vaccinated users to experience as little disruption as possible to their normal routines and activities
That up to an additional $300,000 be allocated from the Stabilization fund to support additional expenditures that may be required to support City operations to comply with both new provincial orders released on September 15, 2021 as well as Council direction.
