RECOMMENDED MOTIONS
recommendation
1. That the revised Capital Prioritization Matrix, provided as an attachment to the July 12, 2021 agenda report to the Community Growth and Infrastructure Standing Committee entitled "Capital Prioritization Matrix", be approved and utilized by Administration to guide funding recommendations for the 2022 budget and beyond.
2. That an Automation, Modernization and Planning fund be gradually established through an annual operating business case, funded through assessment growth, over the next 4-5 years to achieve an ultimate fund balance of $700,000.

PURPOSE OF REPORT
The purpose of this report is to bring to Council recommended motions arising from an item on the Agenda of the July 12, 2021 meeting of the Community Growth and Infrastructure Standing Committee.
The 2022 business case that will be coming forward to Council is being directed solely towards the IT Automation and Modernization fund as there are specific projects being planned for 2022. Details will be provided in the business case. Subsequent years business cases will be split between the 2 funds. This will allow administration to liaise with Council around the Planning fund to develop processes and reporting that meets the needs for oversight and/or reporting.
