REASON FOR TIME EXTENSION
On January 18, 2021, the following motion was approved Community Living Standing Committee:
AR-20-467
That the Community Living Standing Committee Recommend to Council that the deadline for Administration to bring forward to Committee a recommendation for a more comprehensive policy to specify circumstances in which funding may be provided to organizations that work in St. Albert but are not based in St. Albert, is extended to June 30, 2021.
This motion aligns with the currently in progress internal corporate grant review scheduled for Community Living Standing Committee in August 2021. The review will incorporate the direction to “specify circumstances in which funding may be provided to organizations that work in St. Albert but are not based in St. Albert”.
Administration requests an extension on this motion to align with the above work scheduled to return to Council in August 2021.
