That Council authorize the Chief Administrative Officer to award to Donison and Associates, a contract for provisions of an IBAK Lateral Launch CCTV Pipe Inspection Systems for a value of up to $130,000 as per approved project 419742 WASWT CCTV Equipment Replacement Plan.

PURPOSE OF REPORT

The recommended sole source contract exceeds the authority for the City Manager Delegations per City Council Policy C-CAO-01 that specifies the City Manager may:

(5.c.iii.) Approve and execute sole-source contracts, not related to the acquisition or disposition of land or an estate or interest in land, provided that the expenditure or fixed revenue of each sole source contract does not exceed $100,000.

Identify an inventory of existing facilities including an assessment of condition and usability and identify gaps in land and facility supply and demand.
