REASON FOR TIME EXTENSION REQUEST
Although much progress has been made since the April 6, 2020 presentation, Administration is not in a position to present any recommendation for Council’s consideration on May 19, 2020. It is anticipated that additional progress would be made through the next few months to provide Council with a recommendation on a Project Charter of the construction phase of the infrastructure required and the accompanying funding strategy, including land transfer agreements prior to the end of Q3 2020. It is also anticipated that the next update would most likely be of a confidential nature, which would place the agenda report in an in-camera session. Hence, a time extension is requested to provide potentially multiple updates with recommendations prior to Q3 2020.
