That elected officials be appointed to Council Committees and External Agencies as specified in the "Recommendations for 2019/2020 Appointments to Council Committees and External Agencies", provided as an attachment to the November 4, 2019 agenda report entitled “Legislative Appointments”, for a one year term unless otherwise specified.

PURPOSE OF REPORT
This Agenda Report brings forward for Council’s consideration the recommendations of the Nominating Committee.
COUNCIL DIRECTION
Sections 27.1 to 27.4 of the Procedure Bylaw provide that a Nominating Committee will recommend to Council the appointments of Council members to committees and other bodies on which Council is entitled to have representation.
BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
The Nominating Committee met on October 7, 2019 to consider and make recommendations for the appointment of members of Council to the Council Committees and External Agencies on which Council representation is required.
In addition to these recommendations, it should be noted that all Council Members serve on the following committees:
• Committee of the Whole
• St. Albert-Sturgeon County Intermunicipal Affairs Committee
• Nominating Committee
