COMMITTEE DIRECTION

On December 10, 2018 the Governance, Priorities, and Finance Committee (GPFC) made several recommendations to Council with respect to the initiative to allow backyard hen keeping as urban agriculture in St. Albert. One of those recommendations relates to a consequential amendment to the Land Use Bylaw which requires a public hearing, so that recommendation is contained in a separate report on the January 7, 2019 Council Agenda. All the other recommendations arising from the December 10, 2018 GPFC meeting in relation to backyard hen keeping are set out in the "Recommendations" section of this report.
