That the 2017 - 2018 Council Meeting Schedule be amended by deleting the Tuesday, October 2, 2018 Regular Council meeting and rescheduling it on Monday, October 1, 2018.

PURPOSE OF REPORT
At the October 30, 2017 Inaugural Meeting the 2017 - 2018 Council Meeting Schedule was approved. Regular Council meetings are generally held on the first, third and fourth Mondays of the month unless they fall on a stat holiday. Following the meeting it was noted that the first meeting in October 2018 was shown on the schedule as October 2 rather than October 1. As there is no stat holiday that week, Administration is requesting that this meeting be changed to October 1. If the Recommendation is passed by Council, the amended meeting schedule that would result is provided as an attachment.
