What is the current value of the Growth Stabilization Fund?

RESPONSE
Administration’s understanding is that the question is related to the amount of prior years’ assessment growth funds transferred into the Growth Stabilization Reserve, which could be available to be used to reduce the tax base.
The municipal operating budget includes a transfer of $800,000 to the Growth Stabilization Reserve related to the prior years’ assessment growth. This full amount has been committed by previous Council motion related to the Lakeview accelerator program.
The Growth Stabilization Reserve has an uncommitted balance of $547,600, which can be used for one-time operating or capital expenditures.
