SUMMARY
The St. Albert RCMP Quarter 1 report (April to June 2026) for fiscal year 2026/27 is attached for Council and the public’s awareness and information.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
In accordance with the Municipal Police Service Agreement (MPSA), Policing Committee Bylaw 1/2025, the Council Policy C-PS-02 (Policing Services) and other established processes, the RCMP provides quarterly updates on the Community Policing Priorities, community consultations, human resource and financial matters as well as Crime Statistics and emerging trends.
Quarter 1 and Quarter 3 reports are provided to Council as information. Quarter 2 and Quarter 4 reports are presented in person by the St. Albert RCMP Detachment Commander.
STAKEHOLDER COMMUNICATIONS OR ENGAGEMENT
All RCMP quarterly reports are presented in person by the Detachment Commander and discussed at the regular St. Albert Policing Committee meetings where members of the public are welcome to attend.
RCMP quarterly reports are posted on the City of St. Albert’s website.
