That elected officials be appointed to Council Committees and External Agencies as specified in the document entitled “2026-2027 Appointment of Elected Officials,” provided as an attachment to the October 20, 2026 agenda report entitled “Legislative Appointments,” for a one-year term unless otherwise indicated.

SUMMARY
In accordance with section 5(c) of Procedure Bylaw 24/2022, the Nominating Committee appoints members of Council to serve on Council Committees and external boards and agencies. This process is conducted annually.

BACKGROUND AND DISCUSSION
The Nominating Committee met on October 6, 2026, to consider and make recommendations for the appointment of Council members to the Council Committees and External Agencies on which Council representation is required.
In addition to the recommendations, it should be noted that all Council members serve on the following committees:

Standing Committee of the Whole
? Nominating Committee
